Who am I?
Hi, I'm Caden Sheneman. As a creative I work specifically in film, but also do a bit of photography and graphic design. My journey began at a young age when I started making short films and experimenting with my own "cinematic" creations. At 16, I took a big step forward by buying my first camera, which marked the beginning of my dedicated pursuit to master photography. Throughout high school, I expanded my experience by leading projects like Ephrata High School’s "Tuesday Newsday," capturing action at sports events, and diving into various design assignments. Now, I’m continuing to grow in these fields while studying Business Marketing and Design at Eastern Washington University.
Background
I've taken on various solo projects and jobs such as senior photos, senior posters for sports, as well as videoing events such as golf tournaments and weddings. I obtained my first hands on experience in the digital marketing world with my internship at Grant PUD, from June 2023 until September 2024. After I began working in a department primarily focused on social media content like graphics, photos, and video, I took a shot and began working for Eastern Washington University as a Student Creative for Athletics. As I am currently finishing up my last year at EWU, and working for EWU Athletics, I have learned so much into the world of video and cinematography.
Where am i now?
I am currently a Student Digital Media Producer for Eastern Washington University Athletics. I create video content for various sports including football, basketball, volleyball, and more. This job requires a creative mind, a large network, and the ability to build relationships with players, coaches, and other creatives. I have also learned that in this world, our work needs to be strong in quality, efficient, and you must be flexible at all times as sports are fast-paced.
